Health & Safety (HSE) Manager

Job description / Role

We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety (HSE) Manager to join our clients security and saftey team based in Dubai.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a regional retailer where you will enjoy working in an energetic and growing environment and be supporting multiple stakeholders across many different areas of the business.

Reporting to the Operations & Safety Manager, this role will be responsible for:

Develop and implement the HSE Strategy for Retail outlets and warehousing within the Group
Develop and implementation of the Group's Health, Safety Strategy
Ensure all hazards are identified, reported and investigated in a timely manner
Identify learning's' to prevent similar incidents and identify / implement control measures
Coordinate the implementation of safety policies, procedures and programs

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

A proven background in a safety management level role (HSE Manager/Officer or in a similar position) who has delivered measurable business improvement initiatives and efficiencies
A relevant health & safety tertiary qualification (ideally Diploma or higher)
Experience in retail or a similar industry that has a diverse and dispersed workforce across multiple sites
Experience in managing a team of Health & Safety professionals
