The RoleThe RoleHealth & Safety Manager Qatar Our client is a Leading Western Construction company in the Roads, Utilities and Infrastructure sectors with bases across America, Africa and the Middle East. Due to a large project win in Qatar, our client is currently seeking a long term HSE Manager with experience in the Roads and Infrastructure sector. The successful candidate’s role will include: - Formulate policies and implement them to providing a safe work environment for all employees throughout our operations. - Identifying and reviewing occupational hazards and carrying out risk assessments of activities within the construction area. - Formulate Safety Plans and Procedures. - Streamline Site Safety Practices. - Conduct Safety Audits for all sites. - Conducting briefing sessions on Health and Safety to staff, contractors and visitors. - Coordinating activities during any emergency. - Organizing and conducting Safety and Fire training. - Performing periodic job site inspections. - Performing accident investigations and taking the correct action. - Coordinating safety activities on site. Remuneration: Circa 40,000 QR per month all inclusive package plus medical Family status |
RequirementsRequirementsRequirements: - Bachelor of Engineering / Diploma in Safety - Around 12-15 years of experience in road or related projects Experience in: - Safety Equipment - First Aid - Fire Prevention - Managerial & Supervisory Skills - Presentation Skills - Investigation procedures - Report Writing - Observation - Auditing procedures - Fire Fighting - British Nationals only - Must be in the GCC region (NOC required if based in Qatar).
