Job description / Role
• Review and update the company's quality procedures, standards and specifications
• Aim to ensure that the service Global Suhaimi provides is fit for purpose, is consistent and meets both external and internal requirements & quality standards. This includes legal compliance and customer expectations.
• Ensure continuous improvement is undertaken on related projects
• Ensure all managers, process owners, supervisors develop and maintain their part of the quality management system.
• Support the development and maintenance of a customer-focused culture within Global Suhaimi.
• Define the risk related to the SHE&Q department and develop action plans to either mediate or avoid them
• Handle all sites SHE&Q manpower’s logistics and work closely with project management team
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s or master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry or Quality assurance.
2. A minimum of 3 years experience in Quality managerial level with project-based companies in GCC. Having a strong experience working in construction industry - experience within the coating & Insulation could be an advantage
3. Demonstrated experience working with E.P.C. suppliers
4. Operation Health & Safety experience e.g. Provide risk assessments, method statements, onsite training, inductions etc
5. Have experience designing and implementing Health and Safety training programs
6. Expert report writing skills
7. Excellent presentation skills
8. Demonstrate a passion and a responsibilities for customers
9. Confident, assertive, analytical and possess strong problem solving skills, comfortable liaising with contractors, team managers, senior members of staff and suppliers
10. Willingness to continually embrace personal and professional development
