Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Main Purpose of the Job:
- Provide necessary advice and support to assist the Joint Venture managers and staff to fulfill their health, safety, and environmental responsibilities
- Provide assurance and oversight on the health, safety and security standards being implemented by the Design, Construction, Supervision Consultants (DCSCs) and Contractors.
- Promote best practice on projects to foster a culture of continuous improvement

Key Responsibilities/Duties:
- Ensure a consistent approach to the delivery of health, safety and security standards.
- Providing expertise and technical assistance inclusive of legislative compliance.
- Ensure appropriate timely escalation, investigation and reporting of incidents including identification of immediate and underlying causes, actions to prevent recurrence.
- Liaison as necessary with other organizations and other relevant authorities.
- Able to operate independently and make decisions that are consistent with our overall corporate objectives and targets and policies.

Requirements

- At least 14 years post graduate experience (essential)
- Fluency in both written and oral English.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills
- High level of IT literacy.
- Effective, multi-cultural, interpersonal communications.
- Minimum NEBOSH General / Construction Certificate.
- Professional Memberships.
