Job description / Role
Main responsibilities include:
Conduct site visits on a daily basis to monitor Environmental Health and Safety issues and instigate remedial measures to eliminate, reduce or control risk.
Cooperate with legal and local Environmental Health and Safety Authorities.
Provide on-site Environmental Health and Safety training to all project staff.
Chair daily meetings to discuss high risk activities and define solutions for any problems, log lessons learnt and advise all country wide projects of outcomes.
Chair Safety Leadership Team meetings and set contractors goals and objectives.
Ensure suitable pre-qualification and Environmental Health and Safety due diligence process are in place.
Provide ongoing dialogue with all project stakeholders to raise health and safety standards.
Requirements
Candidates must be Degree holders.
Preferably have Middle East/Saudi Arabia experience.
Single Status candidates would be ideal.
Candidates must also hold accreditations such as IOSH or MIOSH.
Candidates must have a background in building works either from a Main Contractor or International Consultancy.
Candidates based in their home countries ie. UK, will be considered.
