Job description / Role
A Major Client with a prestigious portfolio in Abu Dhabi, managing blue chips clients commercial portfolios are seeking a Health and Safety Manager to sit within the Property division.
One would be responsible for developing, maintaining, managing and auditing and monitoring standards. To be responsible for developing guidelines and making relevant HSE policies, working with internal and external clients.
To oversee ISO 9001 and interact with section heads. To oversee audits and review all safety procedures within the built environment.
One would be responsible for planning all HSE activity, ISO policies, studying manuals, establishing KPI's, ensuring provision of emergency procedures.
One would be responsible for educating other divisions on the importance of HSE with a minimum of 8 years experience with strong management skills and a Bachelor in Engineering, preferably NEBOSH certified. One should possess IOSH with a solid understanding of ISO.
One should be able to train and develop others.
This role is suitable for a professional with HSE experience within the built environment- Facilities management only, not construction. Both is an advantage however FM experience is essential.
Preferably with exposure to working for a client directly, if you possess the above and are based in the UAE.
