Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a world leading import/export company based in Dubai. Our client is looking to hire a Health and Safety Specialist to join their organisation.
You will develop and recommend appropriate action plans to support local countries in achieving a cost effective, safe and legal working environment. You will also implement approved local initiatives to ensure a safe and legal workplace in accordance with regulations / divisional and corporate requirements. In addition, you will ensure appropriate records, documentation and reports are developed and submitted according to defined standards.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 5 years health and safety experience with strong background knowledge of dangerous goods. You should have a developed, in-depth understanding of the regions health and safety dangerous goods related legislation and practices and possess a good understanding of local business needs. Additionally, you should hold a health and safety Certification alongside an IATA and a DG Certification.
