Healthcare Internal Auditor

Saudi Aramco is seeking an experienced Health Care Internal Auditor to join our Functional Audits Department.

Internal Auditing is an independent appraisal function within the Company. It examines and evaluates the adequacy and effectiveness of the overall system of controls adopted by Management to enhance the achievement of established objectives. Internal Auditing provides members of Management and the Board of Directors with analyses, recommendations and information concerning the activities reviewed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for identifying key business and medical processes and for analyzing, assessing, and prioritizing current and emerging risks.

- Maintaining independence and objectivity collaborate with medical management to access the effectiveness of policies and procedures and the quality of internal controls.

- Establish the objective and scope of the audit engagement.

- Develop comprehensive audit programs.

- Prepare or assist in preparing audit reports.

- Deliver quality presentations to SAMSO management at the audit opening and closing meetings.

- Provide on-the-job training to inexperienced staff.

- Evaluate the performance and capabilities of the assistant auditors who work under his direction during the audit.

- Assist the Company’s External Auditors, as required, in their interim and year-end audit work.

- Assist with or lead presentations to client’s Management on internal controls and self-assessment.

Requirements

Holds a B.S. or M.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related fields.

Has a minimum of 7 years of experience in internal auditing, with the most recent 7 years of experience in health care auditing.

Has varied health care experience, including nonprofit or for-profit hospitals, dental clinics, outpatient clinics, and auditing of third party contract service providers.

Has one or more audit professional certifications, such as the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Account (CA), etc.

Demonstrates excellent English oral and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
