Heavy Equipment Operator

Job description / Role

- Perform daily vehicle inspections according to operational procedures and report problems to the supervisor
- Log machine operating hours and report according to operational procedures.
- Perform basic pre-use maintenance as required i.e. fluid levels, tyre pressure etc.
- Assist maintenance during the replacement of wheels / tracks as instructed.
- Perform general housekeeping duties
- Operate the equipment to handle material as required

Requirements

- Experience of operating equipment in an operational environment
- English Language Proficiency
- Knowledge of operation of front end loaders, dozers, graders, TLB, Mobile Crane and other heavy duty equipment.
- Time management skills
