Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Main responsibilities:

TEAM LEADER of helium maintenance technicians.
- Set up and implement skills development (Training) of Maintenance Technicians.
Annual Appraisals/Objective setting of Maint Technicians.

SAFETY/IMS/QUALITY
- Insure safety rules implementation by maintenance technicians.
- Contribute to SOPs development
- Prepare all required reporting related to helium maintenance & yard management.

YARD MANAGEMENT
- Container Inspection, Nitrogen top off, weighing, reporting for all containers passing through HCCF.
- Validation of container status: ready for filling, ready to dispatch for customers, maintenance to be done or other.
- Decision of storage location and daily readings monitoring of containers stored in yard, full and empty.
- Communication with all involved parties: logistics, PHG team, Le Blanc Mesnil team.
- Crane activities setting & monitoring.
- Yard Transport planning & implementation.
- Monitoring of vehicle condition and drivers qualification.
- Depressurization arrangements with helium center if necessary.

HELIUM CONTAINERS MAINTENANCE
- Estimation of works to be done, man-hours and availability date back to supply chain, communication with logistics and maintenance planner.
- Supervise and validate all works done, ensure the proper execution of maintenance work.
- New containers commissioning and equipment.
- Tracking system installation and / or maintenance once implemented in Dubai.
- Storekeeper of helium containers spare parts.

BACK UP OF TECHNICAL MANAGER
- Supplier qualification & Monitoring / Incident/accident reporting.
- Spare Parts ordering.

Probation: 3 months
Working hours: Sun-Thursday 9am-6pm
Travel requirements: Occasionally

Helium is used as liquid or gaseous phase in various industrial and medical market segments, including and not limited to high tech industries such as electronics semiconductors and flat panel industries, fiber optic industries, photovoltaic industries, glass industries, car/ship/housing construction industries, research centers, lighting industries, medical or research scanning devices (MRI and NMR) etc. Market demand of helium is experiencing significant growth, leading to increased need for new sources.

DGRH responsibilities includes defining Air Liquide group strategy as far as Helium business, securing the sourcing to support this strategy, investing and operating the required production, logistic and maintenance equipments and facilities, managing the global helium supply chain from sources to Air Liquide affiliates worldwide. DGRH responsibility also include providing the necessary marketing, sales and technical support to Air Liquide affiliates in order to develop the local helium business in each country in line with global strategy, and to increase local efficiency of operation.

DGRH is by nature an international department. Understanding and adapting to significant cultural specificities of suppliers and customers is a key requisite for a successful development.

Requirements

- Engineering degree.
- Technology BTEC.
- Fluent in English.
- Good knowledge in the gas industry.
- Cryogeny experience.
- Good communication Skills.
- Good leadership.

Overall monitoring and optimization of technical operations performed on helium ISO containers in Dubai service platform.
