Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Operational Responsibilities
- Manage the hire of fleet through use of automated system in accordance with company procedures and in conjunction with all departments.
- Ensure the accuracy of orders entered onto the company IT system to minimise disputes with customers and potential credit notes, ensuring all relevant and necessary paperwork is received by customer.
- Ensure customer service and customer expectations are exceeded for both internal and external customers.
- Responsible for the timely and effective communication between all departments within the business to enable the business to operate successfully.
- Deal with all customers enquiries and queries quickly, efficiently and cost effectively.
- Maintain an efficient administration system with accurate record keeping, ensuring that all filing is up to date.

Sales Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with colleagues within the business including, engineering, hire desk, sales and finance to ensure an efficient service is provided both internally and externally.
- Meet targets for sales of Company products and additional items to add value.
- Ensure any sales leads that are identified are either followed up or passed on to the Business Development or Area Sales Manager.
- Convert hire enquires to ensure achievement of Country revenue targets.

In addition to the above the job holder shall carry out any other duties as are deemed necessary to carry out the role.

Requirements

- Customer service experience gained within a busy and challenging environment.
- The individual will need to demonstrate a professional approach to Customer services through a friendly and polite manner, ensuring accuracy of information and customer expectations are managed.
- Excellent telephone manner with the ability to keep clam under pressure and build a rapport with customers, both internal and external.
- To have the confidence to be able to seek out further selling opportunities with customers and be able to demonstrate effective negotiation skills.
- Previous experience in a telephone sales and service environment is desirable but not essential.
