Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

To provide high standards of customer service and contribute towards business performance through effective sales, service and administration. To manage a fleet of machines across India, generating documentation required for both the despatch and collection of those machines and assisting with the process of generating invoices and collection of payments.

Principle Accountabilities
- Operational management of hire activities within the KSA-EP, ensuring that -
- Liaison between the sales team and the operational business is co-ordinated and effective.
- Strong customer service relationships are built through effective handling of calls and enquiries.
- Customer orders are handled in a timely and professional manner.
- Enquiry conversion to order rates are maximised.
- New hire and off-hire requirements are communicated and coordinated with the technical teams.
- Contract files, computerised system and administrative records are maintained and up-to-date.
- Transportation of equipment is planned, coordinated and cost effective.
- Establish clear accountabilities and responsibilities for hire office staff and ensure individuals are focused on areas that improve and exceed key performance indicators and customer expectations.
- Direct, develop, coach and support all hire office and operational reports, in order to ensure that business objectives are met to agreed timescales.
- Work effectively with the local sales and operational team/s to implement differentiation strategies and business initiatives that promote Rapid Access as the preferred powered access rental business.
- Provide support to and implement from annual business plans including sales growth, business development and operational delivery targets, consistent with overall business objectives. Provide regular reports and forecasts pertaining to business performance.
- Gather data and report upon all key operational performance indicators, ensuring monthly performance is clearly understood in regard to customer service, quality standards, operational efficiency, and financial results.
- Identify any operational issues affecting our service to customers and Implement operational improvement programmes
- Set the standards of ethics, behaviour and attitude required in the workforce by demonstrating management best practice and commitment to company values.
- Ensure that all area staff is aware of, and adhere to, all relevant local and external health and safety laws and policies.

In addition to the above the Job Holder shall carry out any other duties as are deemed necessary to carry out the role.

Requirements

- Experienced business development and/or hire office and/or operational management experience with a successful track record in the Middle Eastern rental industry.
- Extensive knowledge of the Powered Access Hire industry and/or Plant Hire industry and ability to develop extensive knowledge of local customer base, competitor activity and buying behaviours.
- Previous experience of P&L management including planning, risk management and accounting processes.
- Understanding of business planning activities to include cost recovery, revenue recognition and organisational design.
- Credible communicator, fluent in English with ability to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels.
- Preferably with Transferable Iqama
