At IKEA creating a better everyday life for the many isn't only our vision, it's our way of life!As a Home Delivery Manager you will manage and control the Home Delivery department which comprises of Merchandise pick-up, Home Delivery desk, Back Office and Loading bay.
Your prime function will be to effectively organise and manage human, technical and commercial resources in order to ensure achievement of company objectives with a strong customer orientation and a service oriented approach.

In this role you will be responsible for:

* Ensuring that service levels and customer satisfaction are maintained to the highest standards
* Ensuring maximum support to the Sales and Logistic departments
* Developing, implementing and regularly reviewing the Home Delivery procedures
* Ensuring an efficient delivery and assembly operations for the store
* Budgeting and operating the fleet of trucks and assemblers
* Securing a safe environment for both customers and co-workers
* Selecting of competent staff and ensuring an effective training and development programs for the co-workers
* Developing, implementing and controlling all KPIs related to home delivery
* Liaising efficient opening/closure of the store
* Dealing with customer guidance and complaints and supervising all operating departments in conjunction with the rest of the store management team

Requirements


To succeed in this position you must have proven operational management experience and ideally, knowledge of the Home Delivery market. Additionaly, you will be able to demonstrate:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Leadership ability
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office packages
* Strategic, analytical and tactical skills
* Experience in SAP or Navision Operating System would be an advantage
* Negotiating and problem solving abilities
