The RoleThe RoleHub Operations Coordinator - Hub Operations/Group Operations Ship Agency Salary circa US$52k + Standard benefits Based in Singapore Our client, an international ships agency, has an immediate requirement for an experienced Hub Operations Coordinator to be based in Singapore. Reporting to the Service Center Manager based in Dubai, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordination of Global Principals vessel calls routed through the service center ensuring Principal and vessel requirements are met. Responsibilities: •Implementing new procedures as needed •Processing Principal appointments •Appointing of local agents •Liaising with Hub accounts to arrange funding where applicable •Liaising with various Principals relating to past/current/future vessels calls •Coordinating and controlling vessels calls with client’s local offices and sub-agents •Following –up on Principal request for information and queries •Maintaining data integrity within client’s database where required •Monitoring group email •Negotiating with vessel owners •Negotiating with 3rd party agents ( and other service providers) for better rates, terms and services •Critically reviewing pro-forma disbursements for accuracy •Obtaining relevant baseline templates where applicable |
RequirementsRequirements• Candidates based in Singapore an advantage • High School/GCSE Equivalent • Relevant qualification in Shipping Business • Fluent in English Language (oral and written) with effective communication skills • Customer Service Orientation • Process orientated, results driven with business acumen • Ability to understand relevant procedures of QMS including Health & Safety • PC literate, including Word/Excel/Email |
