Employment: Full Time

We are currently mandated to select a Senior Strategy Advisor (able to operate at board level) for our clients Human Capital team to be based in the Middle East (Riyadh, KSA)
This is a strategic advisor position, which is concerned with providing HR strategy advice and options to the management team and the board. The two main requirements from the ideal person will be providing top tier HR strategy advice to the business and working discreetly within their business culture. Liaising and building relationships with both local national employees and other expatriate colleagues is also an important element.

Requirements

What will make for an attractive candidate is experience with major global organisations, evidence of working in a strategic and advisory capacity and also cultural sensitivity and diplomacy. Those with experience of mature markets (EU, North America, Australia) and major brands within the Automotive, FMCG, Pharma, Engineering, Electronics and Technology areas will be of particular interest. Experience of a major consulting firm’s HR or Human Capital Practice in addition to industry will also be particularly relevant. Due to the strategy formulation and advisory nature of this position, the post will not have a team or direct headcount to manage. Nor is this a Human Resources Operational role. Please note that this is not a short term consulting assignment.
The position is a full expatriate assignment and is inclusive of a generous tax free salary, housing / living allowances, private school fees, flights and a very generous discretionary bonus. Persons who have engaged directly at CXO and board level delivering HR strategy and providing strategy options and modelling within a global multinational organisation will be preferred. Experience of the Middle East and KSA is an advantage, direct KSA experience is not vital.
