Human Resource Business Partner

Job description / Role

A Human Resource Business Partner provides ongoing HR Solutions and Support in the day to day operations to the Business units. Some of the responsibilities include:
- Drive the manpower planning process and ensure adherence to the manpower budgets and appropriate staffing levels.
- Participate in the Talent Acquisition activities.
- Follow up with the Talent Acquisition team to secure timely joining of new employees and ensure smooth on boarding of new employees.
- Review employee disciplinary requests, employee grievances and coordinate investigations with Legal department.
- Review Employee Separation requests and follow up with the Employee Service Center for processing of such requests.
- Conduct and document exit interviews and recommend retention strategies.
- Review promotion/salary review requests and secure GM HRD approval and follow up on implementation in payroll.
- Conduct job analysis in coordination with the job incumbent/Manager; write and update Job Descriptions and prepare and update Organization Charts.
- Oversee the process of performance appraisal and Individual Development Plans and communicate to the Training Center /Talent Management and follow up on the execution of the IDP.
- Ensure compliance to HR Policies and Procedures and conduct HR Audits.
- Coach and advise Managers and staff on HR Processes, Policies and HR Best practices and act as change agent for all HR programs.
- Oversee the Employee Engagement surveys and participate in the interpretation and identification of areas for improvement and follow up on implementation of recommendations.
- Prepare HR metrics and provide HR reports to GM HRD and the business units, identify areas for improvement and set and follow up on action plans

Requirements

Educational Qualifications and Experience

Primary: Masters degree with 7 years of experience.
Alternate: Bachelors degree with 10 years of experience.
Linguistic Abilities: English is a must. Arabic is an asset.
Certification and Licensure: HRCI or CIPD.
