Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Organization: MNC / Retail Store
Reports To: Store Manager and has a matrix relation to the HR Manager in the Country Office

- Responsible to secure that all contracts for store employees are in line with local legislation regarding local labor laws
- Responsible to ensure that all managers in the store are trained in local legislation so that they are able to manage their staff according to these rules
- Responsible for methods and processes regarding:
- Store achieving the staff cost levels as set in the budget
- Selection and recruitment
- Training and development
- Management and leadership
- Succession and career planning

Requirements

- 5-7 years Experience in working with human resource department preferably in large retail organization
- Must have deep knowledge of local laws and regulations concerning the labor market
- Knowledge of human behavior and performance
- Must have strong mediation and counseling skills
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
- Must be aware of HR planning tools and techniques (Forecasting, Work measurements, scheduling...etc)
- Must be aware of job analysis and job evaluation methods and techniques.
- Must be aware of human resources management systems (HRMS)
- Must have the ability to acquire and analyze local market demographics, economic and labor market conditions.

Communication skills
- Must be able to speak and write English & Arabic
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to share knowledge and learning
- Must have ability and sense of active learning
- Must have an interest in home furnishing

Leadership skills
- Must have proven leadership abilities and lead by example
- Able to accept criticism and deal calmly and effectively within high stress situations
- Must have the ability to create an environment where the company's values are a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and visitors
