Employment: Full Time

The Human Resource Manager is responsible to implement a human resource strategy in support of the business’ strategic and operational requirements by ensuring that the company has best-of-class policies, mechanisms and practices for recruiting, retaining and developing the right number and quality of staff at all times.

The position is a manpower requirement of one of the operating companies under the Zamil Group.

Key Result Areas:

Staffing:
• Define and implement a sustainable staffing strategy;
• Oversee the recruitment and selection process and ensure the reliability of recruitment turn-around;
• Upgrade the over all process from manpower planning to on-boarding of new recruits.

Pay Strategy and system implementation:
• Review existing job classification and pay-scale to ensure internal and external pay equity.
• Develop compensation and benefits policies and practices that add to the company’s ability to attract and retain staff.
• Apply recognized approaches in job evaluation and pay structure design.

Performance Management:
• Oversee the implementation of the company’s performance managements system.

In-House consulting:
• Assist business units and functional departments to analyze and address concerns that require HR solutions.
• Actual interventions have been in the areas of organizational re-design, team-building interventions, KRA and KPI definition, process review and improvement.

Training and Development:
• Drive the company’s staff development agenda by systematically and optimally providing employees with training and development opportunities that are consistent with the company’s present and future business needs;
• Create a reliable pipeline of business talent, competent managers and skilled staff;
• Identify and source appropriate training solutions;
• Enhance employee competencies for their current jobs while preparing them to take on wider and more challenging jobs and responsibilities in their work units and/or elsewhere in the Company;
• Strengthen the in-house training capability.

Saudization:
• Lead and sustain the company’s Saudization initiatives.

Requirements

Person Specifications:

• University Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Industrial Psychology; Master’s Degree preferred.

• Ten (10) years of progressively more responsible position covering various functional areas in HR management (staffing, performance management, compensation management, training and development, in-house consulting) at least five years of which are in a managerial role.

• Proficiency in MS Office.

• Excellent writing and speaking skills; Presentation skills including the ability to handle presentations in a training situation.

• Strong track record of success and leading an HR team; commercially aware and proven experience in helping drive business results through the implementation f high quality recruitment, training and development.

• Hands-on experience with job analysis, job evaluation and pay structure design.
