Employment: Full Time

Aecom are currently looking to recruit an experienced Human Resources (HR) Advisor to provide leadership and assist in helping to establish and maintain HR best practices in the offices of AECOM and to assist in the implementation and maintenance of HR programs, policies and procedures in support of business objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Business in delivering HR by acting as a trusted advisor and partner to the management team and employees.
- Developing strong relationships with management teams to gain an understanding and sound knowledge of the business.
- Helping managers to understand and proactively address HR issues.
- Investigating a variety of employee-related issues, incidents, complaints and enquires.
- Supporting employees and managers to understand and adapt to change in the business / workplace environment.
- Ensuring compliance and legislative requirements are met to manage and mitigate potential risks to the business
- Ensuring HR best practices support the business in achieving objectives and are aligned with AECOM HR values and priorities.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of current HR programs, policies, systems and recommending and developing alternatives or enhancements to create HR best practices.
- Managing job classification and evaluation through a defined Compensation Model.
- Managing the administration of personnel files, systems, records, payroll, and compilation of management reports.
- Managing the performance management process including performance appraisals, salary adjustments, discipline, career development.
- Leading and/or participating in action planning to address employee survey results.Assisting with the realization of strategic plans, budgets, goals, and outcomes.
- Assisting with regional HR initiatives and Special Projects as required.
- Providing leadership and mentoring to an HR Coordinator / Administrative staff.

Requirements

- A minimum of 2- 5 years experience in a HR generalist role.
- Knowledge of HR best practice.
- Experience developing and implementing HR strategies, programs and policies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to develop relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Strong organisational and decision making skills.
- Ability to negotiate and settle issues in a co-operative manner.
- Middle East HR experience is desirable.
- Experience in an Engineering or Project Management company is advantageous.
