Our client, one of the fastest growing public safety and security solutions organizations globally, is looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Human Resource Business Partner to their UAE team. As the portfolio of infrastructure / civil projects across the Middle East continues to expand, so too does our employer, a leading provider of public safety and security solutions. Looking to expand their ranks and with long term prospects providing stability and career development, our employer is seeking to welcome a professional and experienced Human Resource Business Partner for their multi-billion dollar infrastructure project. As a key member of the HR Team, you will provide an effective Human Resources function for all employees including organizational development and related functions. The successful candidate will represent the company in negotiation with employee relations and provide a consulting service to management regarding employee relations issues. This role will also deliver an effective HR service to the branch and projects specifically to ensure the effective implementation of comprehensive staffing, compensation and benefits, employee relations and organizational development systems.

Reporting to the Human Resource Director, this role is responsible for the following:

Recruitment, selection and placement of employees including Interviews, Selection [design evaluation instruments], Placement.
Inducts employees into the company culture through the New Hire Orientation.
Performance management.
Labour relations including HR advice and service - advising on interpretation of policies, procedures agreements and relevant legislation; Monitoring and advising on adherence to HR policies, procedures and agreements; Investigating and advising line managers on appropriate actions; Facilitates a fair disciplinary climate; advises on the verdict and penalty and conflict resolution mediates and facilitates between parties.
Engages in continuous development of organization structures, policies, procedures and engages in the development of occupational expertise.
Analyses human resources requirements of the companys business plan, prioritizes and plans implementation.
Assists in maintaining a positive atmosphere within the company, that allows for open two-way communication to ensure morale and productivity reach the highest possible levels
Managing change management including strategies on projects impacting on employees.
Facilitation and execution of projects, engaging with key stakeholders, facilitation of focus groups and presentation of workshops on how to manage change.
Organizational development including consulting on strategy planning to address key employee and business issues, leadership development, organizational culture development - current and future states, development of OD plans i.e. talent management, employee engagement, reward and recognition, performance; and management of mentoring programs.

Requirements

The attributes we seek for this pivotal role include:

Degree in Human Resources, or Commercial/Social Science qualifications.
Minimum of 5 - 8 years HR Generalist experience in a heavy industry environment.
3-5 years of experience within an HR environment.
Excellent computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Internet).
Fluent written and verbal English.
