Job description / Role
A building materials manufacturer requires an experienced HR Manager to join their team in Doha to manage all operations in Qatar. The incumbent should be a true generalist with both operational and strategic experience with a particular focus on policy implementation.
Candidates should come from a construction or engineering industry and have a successful track record in a HRM role and be able to demonstrate success in policy implementation.
Responsibilities:
Managing the HR functions for a work force of approximately 150 staff, reporting to the General Manager
Implement HR policies and procedures as directed by the Group.
End to end recruitment for office and blue collar workers
Manage all offers and employee contracts and on-boarding for new joiners
Employee relations including disciplinaries, grievances and promotions
Liaise with the head office to manage the HR budget
Manage all employee personnel files
Manage and update the HR handbook
Assess training requirements for each department
Requirements
Candidates with a manufacturing or engineering background mandatory.
A strong understanding of the Qatar labour law is preferred
8 years solid HR experience
Candidates from MENA who are willing to relocate may be considered
