Job description / Role

We are not recruiting for candidates who are looking for a role in the UAE or Gulf Region.

Our client is a successful organisation based in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and due to the tremendous growth they have experienced in the last few years, we are recruiting an HR Manager to develop and lead the Human Resources department.

Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, systems and frameworks
- Overall management of recruitment for the organization including first line recruitment and providing a short-list to the line managers for ex-patriate staff moving to the Congo
- Providing operational HR support to function heads and line management for all activities related to HR including recruitment, employee relations, performance and absence management, compensation and benefits, on-boarding and training
- Development of the HR strategy in conjunction with the Board
- Development and implementation of compensation, benefits and rewards policies
- Development and overseeing the HRIS and generating management reports
- Development and implementation of a probationary and onboarding program
- Development, implementation and management of annual performance reviews

Requirements

- Extensive recruitment experience
- 8 15 years HR management experience including in developing HR policies & procedures
- 5 years HR management experience working with white and blue collar employees
- Ability to manage and resolve complex HR issues
- Ability to coach and mentor line and operations managers
- Experience of working with expatriates is an advantage
- Degree in Human Resources
- MBA is an advantage

Candidate Profile
- Male Indian nationality
- Aged between 30 40 years
- Excellent communication skills fluency in English and Hindi is essential
