Job description / Role
Our company is looking for a Human Resources Manager, based in Djibouti, to support an International courier company. The HR Manager will be responsible for performing HR management works relating to hiring, recruitment, training, compensation, promotion, termination, and career development.
Primary Objectives of the Human Resources Manager:
•Leads HR practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented; high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and standards; goal attainment
•Responsible for the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce
•Responsible for the development of processes and metrics that support the achievement of the
•Responsible for the development of the Human Resources department.
•The HR manager will develop, update, and maintain personnel policies, policy manuals and employee handbook as required.
•Responsible for the development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention and development, and high performance.
•Raising proactive issues with managers, identifying practical solutions to complex and diverse HR issues, and recommending appropriate action plans.
•Administering and keeping information on benefits and compensation packages up-to-date.
Requirements
•Must have Africa work experience
•Logistics business experience in a HR role is essential
•Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
•Minimum10 years’ experience in a similar role
•French language skills (oral and written) a definite advantage
•Preference will be given to candidates who are available immediately
