Human Resources Manager - Baghdad, Iraq

Job specification:

* Responsible for all local HR activities in Iraq, including recruitment, compensation, employee relations, benefits and L&D;
* Responsible to end to end recruitment for company within Iraq;
* Manage third-party recruitment suppliers;
* Onboarding & induction of new employees;
* Ensure compliance of all policies, processes, best practices within Iraq market;
* Prepare internal employee communications regarding employment contracts, compensation or company policies;
* Ensure performance appraisal process is implemented and support line managers in process and managing outcomes;
* Communicate with Regional HR Manager especially in reporting issues and concerns from the market;
* Understand and comply with all safety and environmental requirements;
* Implementing strategies in the local Iraq market.

Requirements

Person specification:

* Must be an Iraq national;
* Good English language skills required;
* Degree level education or CIPD qualified;
* Between 3 and 5 years' HR generalist and/or HR business partner experience required;
* Good decisdion making, problem solving and troubleshooting required;
* Ability to build relations and work closely with all levels of management is essential.
