Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Joining an expanding business operating in the engineering and construction sector, you will be responsible for writing, developing and implementing HR policies and procedures and running a small HR department. You will ideally be an Arabic speaker with strong English communication skills and ability to lead and influence throughout the organisation. Experience working within a structured international environment is also an advantage. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join an established company at an exciting time in their history.

THE ROLE

• Writing, developing and implementing HR policies and procedures from scratch
• Running the HR department
• Assisting with on-boarding new members of staff, including obtaining Visas etc.
• Employee engagement
• Employee relations and resolving any issues through
• Communicating the HR policies to managers throughout the Kingdom and gaining commitment from key stakeholders
• Inspiring a positive culture where HR is seen as an essential, positive and professional addition to the organisation

Requirements

ABOUT YOU

• Degree in HR, affiliated to professional organisation such as the CIPD
• Ten years or more experience in the field of HR, having held senior positions, you will be able to and supervise and lead others
• Confident communicating in Arabic and English
• Currently or previously have worked in the Middle East
• Experience creating HRDs from scratch would be an advantage
• Experience working within international organisations
• Extremely organised and process driven
