The RoleThe Role•Participates in the development of the overall HR strategy •Participates in the formulation of HR policies and procedures in compliance with the corporate objectives and labour legislation •Prepares the HR business and manpower plan and submits them to the AGM - Finance/Administration for discussion and approval •Checks and reviews the manpower plan prior to the AGM - Finance/Administration approval •Ensures the proper implementation of the HR policies and procedures in all departments or sections •Advises department or section heads on HR policies and procedures •Advises management about the appropriate solutions to resolve employee relations issues •Supervises and assists in the preparation of the NSSF, taxation, and insurance coverage plans •Manages and coordinates salary administration programs to determine competitive compensation and ensure compliance and equity within the Company in coordination with the Corporate HR Department •Manages and coordinates performance appraisal program to ensure effectiveness, compliance and equity within the Company •Prepares job descriptions and conducts job analysis for all the Company’s positions in coordination with the Corporate HR department •Prepares, develops and implements career path, succession plan and incentive scheme for the Company’s positions •Develops, manages and follows-up a training program for the Company’s employees in coordination with the Corporate HR department •Directs and/or handles the interviewing, of all candidates (Internal and External) and recommends selection and recruitment •Prepares periodic HR progress reports to determine the effectiveness of the HR programs in coordination with the Corporate HR department •Manages the Human Resources Department, monitors their performance and supervises the development of their skills •Adapts HR corporate guidelines, policies and processes to local environment •Develops a plan for the country in line with the HR Corporate business objectives •Provides information to local and regional management |
RequirementsRequirements•At least 4 - 6 years of experience in Human Resources Management, including involvement with awards and conditions in the industry accompanied with relevant tertiary qualifications •HR experience in Production/Manufacturing environment is a plus •Ability to work in cross-functional teams •Able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly growing and exciting environment •Has demonstrated strong leadership, communication (both verbal and written), and customer service skills, and exchange information with others clearly and concisely •Sound knowledge of Lebanese labour law and regulations •Good conceptual ability |
