The RoleThe RoleParsons International is currently looking for Inspectors experienced in performing various types of construction inspection activities. He must be able to inspect various facets of work on the construction site as directed by immediate supervisor and document nonconformance in a prescribed standardized format. Inspection assignments may be in the following areas: hydraulics, electrical, mechanical. Responsibilities: Interface with clients and contractors staff to determine and verify project requirements. Prepares inspection reports and site records. Provides general inspection on all construction labor and subcontracted tasks to ensure professional workmanship. Verifies equipment alignment and balancing operations. Conducts test to determine if work has been done in accordance with contract specifications. Participates in the development of quality control reports and procedures. Participates in the development of job safety practices and in the preparation of safety reports. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. |
RequirementsRequirementsExperience and Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Minimum 12 years experience in inspection of storm drainage network, open culvert, box culvert, piping, dam, etc. Knowledge and experience in using computer software. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications and be thoroughly familiar with construction-related processes. Good oral and written communication skills. Commitment to safe work practices. |
