Charterhouse is working with a public shareholding company that specialises in running grocery retail outlets. Due to ambitious expansion plans, our client is looking to hire a Hyper Store Manager to join their team in Nablus.

You will be accountable for managing and driving performance of the new 2000 m2 store that will be opening in mid-2015. You will act as an exceptional people leader as this organisation concentrates on demonstrating unique customer service through employee behaviour and interactions with each other and with customers.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have a proven track record of managing stores of a similar size in Jordan or Gulf. You should have the ability to work and liaise across functions to influence and move the business forward. You should also be proficient in team leadership and change management as well as have excellent communication and influencing skills. It is essential you have exceptionally high standards of customers service, hygiene, safety and quality. A strong financial and commercial acumen is essential for this role.

Our client has stated a preference for candidates holding a Palestinian ID or EU/ USA/ Canada passport. Due to the job location, you should be willing to live in the Nablus West Bank region in Palestine.
