Our Human Resource professionals are accountable for establishing and maintaining the processes and systems which enable the Firm to fully leverage the skills and talents of all our people. The HR functions help the local offices in driving the firm's people strategy, helping to create a unique people experience for each individual, supporting our firm wide values and working with the core competencies that measure and drive individual and firm wide success in the marketplace. Human Resources supports our people in reaching their full market value which then sets PwC apart as the distinctive Firm.

Job Description:
- Assist with delivering the function for the Shared Service Center in Jordan.
- Reports to HC manager and SCC leader.
- Internal stakeholders are the line of service leaders for Assurance, Advisory and Tax plus the Country Senior Partner.
- Supervises the junior members of the SSC.
- Assist with the HC Operations and make sure that HC data is secured, updated and managed properly to generate various types of HC reports.
- Identify ways to improve and enhance the quality of current HC services and Operations and drive forward changes to deliver improvements.
- Assist with the performance management and appraisal process.
- Assist the implementation of MER HC programs / projects and report work in progress to the ME HC Operations Leadership team & Leadership team.
- Keep up-to-date with local regulations and employment law changes.
- Work closely with Line of Service leaders and address any HC issues coming from their LoS.
- Evaluate procedures and technology solutions to improve HC data management in coordination with MER HC operations.

Requirements

- Extensive experience and knowledge of HR practices and processes ( benefits, compensation, recruiting , training, administration, time and attendance).
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and decision making skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic.
- Knowledge and experience of the Middle East Region is required.
- Experience from International Firms preferred, consulting banking, finance, and accounting.
- HR qualifications is preferred but not essential.

The jobholder would typically be degree qualified in HR (B Com) or equivalent.

Work experience would have demonstrated:
- A proven track record in payments, payroll, and related accounting.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in processing.
- Ability to deal with and resolve staff enquiries.
