The HR functions help the local offices in driving the firm's people strategy, helping to create a unique people experience for each individual, supporting our firm wide values and working with the core competencies that measure and drive individual and firm wide success in the marketplace. Human Resources supports our people in reaching their full market value which then sets PwC apart as the distinctive Firm.

About the role:
- Screen initial enquiries from interested candidates from the Global Jobs Board, regional mobility requests or exchange mobility requests
- Manage the logistics of relocation for candidates that the business wish to offer a position to (further details available on request);
- Act as a point of contact for assignees during their assignment and manage basic ad hoc queries, including home leave flights;
- Pro-actively contact assignees at 3, 6 and 12 months into their assignment to check that they are settling in well and whether there are any open issues that they wish to discuss;
- Pro-actively contact assignees 6 months before their assignment end date to find out their intentions regarding repatriation / extension / localisation. Facilitate initial discussions with business owners.
- Draft home country T&C letter for outbound assignees;
- Draft Assignment letters for inbound Short Term assignees.
- Update adverts for open roles on the Global Jobs Board. Review the vacancy list vs roles advertised on our jobs board each month. Remove vacancies filled and pro-actively obtain (eg. via the recruiter) details for roles not yet advertised.
- Prepare updater reports for key business unit contacts and send to them at agreed intervals; continuous communication with the LoS Leaders for support with inbound/outbound activities.
- Obtain inter-territory billing details for new Strategic Deployed (SD) assignees from the home country and provide these to Finance with a copy of the assignment costing; as well as Home Leave billing.
- Respond to Retention Data information requests from the Global Mobility core team;
- Respond to request from overseas territories for assignee compensation / benefits information needed for their tax reporting. Liaise with regional Finance / Payroll contacts to obtain the necessary information;

Requirements

- Global Mobility and/or HR experience preferred.
- Other relevant professional experience will be taken into account. A keen desire to work in this area, together with the skills and competencies noted below, is important.
- Minimum 4-5 years relevant professional experience;
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken (including fluent English);
- Ability to use Microsoft Office applications in particular Word, Excel;
- Ability to pro-actively manage expectations and challenge others in a professional manner;
- Display professionalism, discretion and sound judgement;
- Recognise and take action when issues require additional consultation and/or escalation;
- Take responsibility and ownership for ensuring that work is completed efficiently and within deadline;
- Build respect and trust, showing empathy with others and adopting supportive behaviours / styles to suit people / circumstances;
- Take personal responsibility for delivering quality work
