ABOUT CLIENT -
An exciting opportunity with an established leading Middle East based National Oil Company that functions throughout onshore development sites as well as in the shallow coastal waters with a number of productive oil fields.

JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE -

The IOR/EOR RESERVOIR SURVEILLANCE SPECIALIST will lead the planning and execution of surveillance, well management, production chemistry and other key aspect of the deployment of Enhance Oil Recovery (EOR) projects. This requires someone with breadth and depth of technical knowledge and experience as well as excellent interpersonal skills.

The scope of the job covers the following major areas:

Perform multiple studies & modeling related to various EOR techniques from petroleum engineering aspects.

Analyze, interpret and integrate broad data sets (tracers, production logs, cased hole logs, pressure tests, interference tests) for EOR pilot characterization.

Perform various petroleum engineering related activities including job planning (Regular, Short term & Long term), Drilling, Well completions, Workovers (Rig & Rigless), Artificial lift, Acid stimulation and Production Management.

Conduct flow assurance and well bore management for various EOR techniques.

Construct well surveillance plans, well reviews, monitoring and well performance analysis by using Nodal analysis software (Prosper/GAP).

Provide support and consultation for the development of EOR pilots and liaise with reservoir engineers and geoscientist for the selection, design and execution of CO2 / low salinity pilots.

Design Single well and inter well chemical tracer tests to assess various EOR processes.

Provide Well completion design of various injection wells, production wells and observation wells for EOR processes, (CO2, WAG, Low salinity).

REMUNERATION -

An attractive remuneration will be negotiated with the successful candidates and will be in line with a competitive industry standard.

Requirements

Minimum of MSc in Petroleum engineering and/or Reservoir engineering.

Preferably, 12+ years varied relevant industry experience.

Significant experience in application of petroleum engineering, tracers test implementation,flow assurance and well test designs.

Have a working understanding of the capabilities/limitations of Geosciences software and tools, with the focus on Reservoir Geology.
