The Role


The Role

JOB Purpose:
Provide a professional maintenance service to one of the biggest operator in Oman.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
The first technical owner to verify IPMPLS and BB network;
The first technical owner of IPMPLS issue and service request;
To be first responsible of escalation of network critical alarms and problems;

ROLE PURPOSE:
To verify the network topology and design data
To verify license related to features, capacity and timeline
To develop failover strategy
To develop daily, weekly and monthly technical reporting format
To confirm and monitor performance index of interface by tools.
To support and handle problem which require querying, exporting and importing data.
To manage application like monitoring, backup, upgrading, patching, operation account and database account.
To perform security checking for all operation as well audit for all changes.
To configure rights authorization to users, like organization, role, staff and user.
To maintain the scheduled task in the IP.
To provide assistance on problem or incident handling.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Extensive experienced as IP/MPLS back office engineer (Specially Juniper and Extreme experience).
Extensive experience with software applications of IPMPLS network.
Must have hands on experience on IP/MPLS operations & maintenances.
Must have goo experience of IP MPLS design and engineering
Good knowledge in operating systems.
Good knowledge in database.
Good knowledge of scripting.
Good knowledge in Network, Switch, Router, Firewall, TCP/IP protocol and etc.
Good Troubleshooting skills.
