The Role


The Role

General Description:
Implement process & procedures for adding new International prepaid roaming & GPRS roaming, share the knowledge with the local engineers to enhance their level of expertise in this field, assist roaming engineering manager/Team Leader to draw the guide line for improving staff & evaluating the staff.

Technical:
o To build the necessary process & procedures for adding prepaid roaming partner & implement the necessary testing (IR31 & IR60).
o Support local team & show guidance on trouble shooting of general & specific problems of prepaid roaming, GPRS & MMS inter-working.
o Build the necessary communication requirements among different department (IN, Billing & NSS) with in the Planning, Operation & IT teams.
o Responsible for maintaining all test faults & consult with different department to rectify during the testing period.
o Following up and coordinating with roaming partners to exchange test results and forward to responsible direction.
o Provide other departments with International roaming information upon request.
o Provide necessary info to local staff on necessary configuration(s) required for implementing any roaming partner info on IN & MSC
o adhere local team with information on Prepaid roaming & IN staff in other department on the required configuration.

Staff Management:

o Assist Roaming Engineering Supervisor / team leader on staff evaluation.
o Assist Roaming Engineering Supervisor / team leader on staff career development.
o Assist Roaming Engineering Supervisor / team leader on putting necessary training program for staff.

Requirements


Requirements

Technical Skills:
o Extensive IREG background in prepaid roaming, GPRS roaming & MMS inter-working.
o Develop documentation for Managing multiple roaming partners & also for providing other department with necessary information for implementing
o Assisting TADIG team to trouble shoot problems & guide them with necessary information based on the CAMEL protocol & latest TAP versions.
 Other Duties & responsibilities:
o Assisting Roaming Engineering Supervisor / team leader to build necessary training to local staff & provide these trainings on timely fashion.
o Convey necessary meetings with different groups upon need.
o Budgeting: provide necessary support to budgeting teams to calculate accurate budget for Roaming Engineering in terms of Equipment, Tools, Engineering services & Trainings requirements.
o Convey Necessary meetings within the group and/or with other groups upon need.
o Any other tasks assigned by the direct manager/supervisor.

Work Experience Requirements:
o Experience International Prepaid roaming, GPRS
o Roaming & MMS inter-working.
o Knowledge on Huawei MSC & MSoft.
o Three or more years experience with Roaming
o Engineering Degree
