Our client is an exciting joint venture between two of the leading energy suppliers to the world. They will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase establishing a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added performance products encompassing 26 manufacturing plants.

The integrated complex based in Al Jubayl, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, will produce high-value performance plastics and specialty chemical products. Major product families include amines, Glycol Ethers, Isocyanates, Polyether Polyols, Propylene Glycol, Polyethylene and Polyolefin Elastomers.

Requirements

- To provide data stewardship, technical support and maintenance for corporate Enterprise Data Management (EDM) systems in order to ensure optimized functionality, minimized downtime and maximized efficiency.
- Collect, analyze and refine requirements for delivering the service to the business.
- As a data steward, the analyst will be responsible for the following:
- Manage data objects that will be utilized in the process of procuring, selling, and replenishing of inventory for direct and indirect materials.
- Coordinate with business units to collect, validate, and synchronize the data objects.
- Utilize the current information technology tools to enhance the EDM processes and optimize data objects.
- Manage and oversee an organizations data assets to help provide business users with high-quality data that is easily accessible in a consistent manner. This position will identify data quality issues, investigate and research issues identified by others, and implement solutions
- Focuses on tactical coordination and implementation.
- Responsible for carrying out data usage and security policies as determined through enterprise data governance.
- Describe data, verify data and approve data collected from many sources and entered by many users.
- Develop, implement and manage data strategies that optimize data quality to improve standardization and business information value derived from enterprise data.
- Develop, co-author, and maintain data governance standards, rule books, policies and other Meta-data to support master and transactional data management for enterprise systems.
- Ensure adherence to Data Governance policies and procedures.
- Administer all necessary Create/Read/Update/Delete requests to appropriate master data, ensuring accuracy of information.
- Monitor all newly created / updated master data records for accuracy and completeness.
- Research and resolve all data quality issues for responsible data objects.
- Raises potential data integrity or regulatory compliance issues to the businesses
- Adhere to all Service Level Agreements and accuracy ratios for creating and updating master data records.
- Assist with all other Master Data Administrative tasks as needed.
- Assist in the identification, definition and population of the correct and required data.
- Be the "Gate Keeper" in maintaining consistency, uniformity and accuracy of all systems master data.
- Coordinate the flow of information between all departments for responsible master data elements.
- Determine and track the root cause(s) for all change requests.
- Manage and perform data cleansing, de-duplication and harmonization of data across and within enterprise systems
- Respond to and provide appropriate information for all master data related questions and inquiries.
