Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose:

To maintain and support safe and reliable Manufacturing Operation Management (MOM) System configuration in order to ensure optimized functioning of MOM applications to minimise downtime and maximize efficiency.

Functional Duties:

• Provide support and deliver high quality execution of MOM as well its integration with other systems (e.g. SAP, DCS, etc.)
• Work directly with internal customers to ensure recommendations for design and best practices are incorporated into the projects by collecting, transferring and implementing data collected into the manufacturing systems.
• Manage user, functional, and design requirements and documentation processes.
• Work with cross functional team including Process Automation, Engineering, Manufacturing, and BSD for optimization of MOM to meet business integration requirements.
• Responsible for technical deliverables on going for MOM applications as well as the accuracy and completeness of real time MOM data.
• Proactively report on progress against schedule and budget.
• Ensure reliable, optimized plant operation by successfully managing and implementing MOM related changes, utilising, Large and Small Project Work Processes, approved functional tools and MOC process.
• Utilize and maintain existing or develop plant performance indicators to monitor effectiveness of plant operation.
• Provide MOM training to users as required for them to utilize MOM applications for proper and optimized plant operations.
• Coordinate maintenance and resolve unplanned infrastructure issues with IT personnel to ensure proper functioning of MOM applications
• Translate IT Strategy into specific initiatives and actions for a division or team and act on those initiatives to implement the IT Strategy.
• Maintain deep expertise in the technology, software, and methodologies associated with the division.
• Ensure stable, ongoing configuration, break/fix support and maintenance for all supported systems and services.
• Ensure that transitioned and developed services meet Operational and Service Level Requirements, and are measurable and monitored.
• Manage all staff within the Division in performing their delegated tasks.
• Provide input on the department’s annual budget requirements. As assigned, manage division or program/project budgets and financial reporting.
• With Sadara Procurement, the IT Business Office, and the Law Department, establish relationships with external service providers to agree on terms and conditions that best protect the interest of Sadara for software licensing and maintenance agreement.
• Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/ manager.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Engineering or any related field.
• Proficiency in programming, analysis, and/or service management practices.
• Experience of analyzing and breaking down problems and information using structured frameworks and methodologies
• Highly developed analytical thinking abilities and client facing communication skills
• Manufacturing or Chemical industry knowledge
• 6+ years of experience in analysis, software architecture, software design, and/or process design with an emphasis on Manufacturing applications
