Employment: Full Time

A large, high-profile banking client of ours based in the UAE are looking to add an experienced IT Communications & Change Manager to drive a major IT transformation project focused on improving productivity and employee engagement.

Working as part of a wider IT Governance Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for setting the communication strategies relating to critical information and updates, championing IT through the business by building relationships, and project managing the implementation of new systems and processes.

The role will also involve the development and management of online platform initiatives in order to aid communication and collaboration throughout the group.

The IT Communications Manager will also be expected to create and run internal focus groups, work with and manage external vendors/parties, develop marketing material and help conduct Town Hall meetings to further encourage engagement.

Requirements

Due to the nature of the role, candidates will be expected to have experience working within a similar role and will ideally come from a Communications and Marketing background with a heavy focus on IT. Experience with event management and staff engagement is also critical in order to be successful within this role.

The successful IT Communications Manager will be expected to organize and manage large scale events and should be impactful with regards to their ability to influence and develop others.

Experience with online web portals (ideally Sharepoint) and familiarity with the Adobe Package (photoshop, Illustrator etc) is expected and an interest in IT in general will be beneficial given the area this individual will be working in.

Candidates must be fluent in spoken and written English and should hold a University Degree within a related field. Any verbal communication skills in Arabic would be beneficial but not required.
