Employment: Full Time

Our client a leading MNC Bank is looking for an IT Dealing Room Support Officer.

Position is based in Bahrain.

The main activities of the IT Dealing Room Support Officer are to participate the above mentioned responsibilities accomplishment, respect agenda of tasks his manager provide him and to regularly report his activities in dedicated tools. It also includes the participation to projects following the methodology provided by the regional IT governance team.
- Dealing room FI/ALM Treasury support: Providing traders, sales and middle office with continuous support in the use of their functional applications, to manage, develop, maintain and implement on a functional and technical point of view the IT projects related to the evolution of these applications or to implement new applications, to assess and conduct necessary training for the users and to implement the recommendations of Audit, inspections and IT security.
- Bahrain users support: Ensuring (at least) the first level of support for all users in case of incidents or requests, to follow-up with the appropriate teams with the Group for incidents and requests that dont fall under the direct responsibility of the Help Desk, to guarantee the availability of all IT Systems (network, hardware and applications) under its perimeter.

Direct Responsibilities
- Main entry contact for all the Dealing Room and Market Data subjects.
- In charge of the coordination with the FO support teams in London/Paris for support/escalation/developments activities
- To have continuous contact with Faster team to investigate solutions, opportunities to constantly look for the improvement of the services quality provided to the users.
- To make sure the systems, any developments and production tasks and processes are properly documented so to ease any new comers to understand.
- To Maintain/develop tactical tool for FO and MO users
- To ensure maintenance and evolution of regional Reuters infrastructure across the region
- To ensure Market Data licences management (access rights, budget) and coordinate with external actors (Paris MData Gestion, GMD Support)
- To follow incidents until complete resolution within the standard control standard and security standard
- To day to day manage change requests in relation to the project plans to ensure agreed deadlines are met.

Requirements

- Strong knowledge of activity planning in a pressure environment
- Strong experience and knowledge of end to end IT project lifecycles
- Good Knowledge of Dealing room banking activities and business processes
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Dealing Room
- Strong technical experience in Dealing Room environments and real-time Front-office data applications
- Strong functional knowledge on financial instruments and pricing models/systems
- Knowledge of Market Rates services, e.g.: Bloomberg and Reuters products
- Demonstrate evidence of managing and interacting with end users
- Good level with Office work management tools
- Fluent in English (spoken & written)
