IT Digital Project Manager

Job description / Role

- Manage projects from Initiation to Closure
- Responsible for translation of the detailed business requirements into functional specs
- Work closely with business users to understand their needs
- Conduct requirements analysis sessions
- Define the project scope, objectives and approach
- Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Assist business users in the prioritization and phasing of requirements
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
- Ensure common understanding, quality of deliverables and compliance with business requirements
- Develop, maintain and monitor the detailed project plan
- Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
- Manage relationships with solution providers (vendors) and ensure they deliver as per plan and requirements
- Elaborate Training plan, contribute to test plan, test scripts and user acceptance tests with the testing team
- Responsible for the overall success of the project as well as the delivery of result

Requirements

- Experience of working with development teams and solution providers
- Experience in documenting and executing project requirements, scope analysis, and test plans, delivering projects on time and within scope
- Good knowledge of the insurance business, insurance accounting and current market knowledge
- Sound knowledge of the insurance business, insurance accounting and current market
- Sound knowledge of Digital solution & technology (Web & Mobile)
- Working experience in Agile project management methodology (Scrum, Kanban, )
- Working knowledge of insurance is an added advantage
- University degree (3-4 years) in computer science or equivalent
- Qualification in project management or equivalent
- 3-4 years of experience in IT Business Analysis
- Minimum 3 years as IT Project Manager
- IT Project Management including tracking & budgeting
