The RoleThe RoleA leading client of KPMG Oman is seeking to recruit an IT Director for a Special Economic Zone in Oman. The key responsibilities shall comprise: - Establish IT as a key enabler for the success of the Special Economic Zone - Design, develop, implement and maintain IT strategies / systems and infrastructure from inception to completion - Evaluate technical correctness and strategic position of chose technology/systems - Prepare and maintain aspects of IT Disaster Recovery Plans & Processes - Liaise with external consultants and contractors to complement IT solutions delivery |
RequirementsRequirements- Bachelors degree in Computer engineering / Information Systems or equivalent is required - Minimum 10 years of work experience (with 4-5 years of work experience in similar role) is required. - Experience of working on large scare multi-disciplined environments is required - GCC experience is required; Oman experience is desired - Experience in the following is required: Cisco networking/VOIP, virtualization technologies, WAN/LAN infrastructure, Linux, Microsoft solutions, remote access solutions,etc. |
