The RoleThe RolePRIMARY PURPOSE: Handling of all (internal) IT operations Responsible for IT security Maintenance of (internal) IT and telephone systems and interfaces Hard- and software management Management of Company's intranet and webpage IT support FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Handling of all IT operations within Company including: - Interact with different divisions / sections to meet their needs regarding IT requirements - Manage outsourced vendor - Quality Assurance (tbd) - Consolidate and cater for IT requirements from different divisions / sections - Monitor system performance and capacity use  Carry responsibility for IT security according to the latest technology standards: - Carry out of IT security audits at frequent intervals and reporting of security incidents - Encryption of (most valuable) data - Implementation, management and maintenance of a comprehensive backup system - Creation of an information security policy and ensure compliance with security policy - Ensure compliance with data protection legislation - Allocation of security responsibilities - Management of information security education and training - Processing of virus controls - Control of proprietary copying Maintenance of IT systems, e. g. network, user interfaces, telephone systems, etc. and liaising with different vendors  Manage IT-related procurement in liaison with vendor management section as well as software license management  Maintain Company’s intranet and webpage, internal IT systems and interfaces as well as the job portal and integration of webpage content produced by Communications Section  Availability of in-house IT support on issues relevant to Company's employees daily operations and support and resolution of issues at hand - Provision of end-user support and on-site problem resolution - Management and update of internal IT systems, networks, and online connectivity - Coordination with SOC managers to resolve any apparent IT-related incident - Procurement of required service or spare parts - Improvement of service levels by providing feedback |
RequirementsRequirementsEducation: Degree level qualification in Information Technology, IT Management or similar Experience/Domain: Ideally 5+ years of work experience in IT Understanding of Abu Dhabi’s regulatory environment Excellent experiences regarding the analysis of errors and troubleshooting Experience in internet security and network administration Skills/Capabilities: Excellent oral and written English language skills; Arabic is an advantage Comprehensive knowledge regarding build up, support and further development of databases Social competencies and exceeding service mentality High flexibility regarding working times and resource planning ad hoc late night (including weekend availability) In-depth knowledge concerning server architectures, network systems, relevant existing standards, etc. Good Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Technical skills regarding network administration and web based programming |
