IT International Regional Leader - India Middle East Africa (IMEA)

Summary of accountabilities is as follows, but not limited to:
- Executing the strategy of leveraging global capability, personnel and markets for growth and productivity in support of Boeing IT.
- Supporting Boeing ITs Industrial Participation obligations.
- Serving as India, Middle East, Africa IT International Regional Leader for all IT based international services and operations.
- Creating the IT strategy for the deployment, delivery, alignment, and continuous improvement for all international IT products, services and sourcing within the region.
- Integration of delivery of services from all IT organizations and regional functional organizations to provide a stable and standard support environment for the Boeing businesses in that region.
- Managing IT International Services statement of work and performance to that statement of work for all Boeing Int'l sites in the region.
- Leading and / or participating in Regional Functional Council activities.
- Leading activities to identify risks to IT delivery and developing mitigation plans.
- Overall IT accountability for India, Middle East and Africa.

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Accountable for the delivery of growth and productivity initiatives in the region and driving objectives derived from Boeing International priorities of Presence, Efficiency and Compliance.
- Expand Boeing ITs impact, image and influence internationally by representing IT on the Boeing country leadership teams and being the single IT point of contact for the Boeing Int'l CVP in each country in the region.
- Support business unit activities in region and follow-up on support requirements for BDS Campaigns and Programs.
- Collect local IT market / competitive intelligence. Support local oversight of sourced work and identify opportunities to strengthen the model in terms of both rigor and scale.
- Drive IT Operations improvements and coach team on cost consciousness and help develop service-level orientation. Develop and own emergency preparedness plans for IT in region. Address IT related audit and global compliance issues. Proactively & periodically review risks and scan the environment on regular basis to mitigate risks. Stay connected with Information Security updates and share with regional leadership and operations as appropriate.
- Drive people development and globalization by implementing improvements based on employee survey feedback & key stakeholder inputs that will improve organizational communication and reduce bureaucracy. Develop more awareness of IT and the region. Support Boeing International globalization and presence objectives by participating in University Relations programs in collaboration with BR&T.

Requirements

- Significant IT experience across areas like IT application development, IT operations / infrastructure, IT Process and IT Strategy.
- Experience with vendor management at a portfolio level.
- Very strong written and oral communication skills.
- Very familiar with MS Office suite of applications including MS Project.
- Bachelors Degree in related field. Business degree will be a plus.
- Self starter and performs with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a global, matrixed, highly dynamic environment, with constantly shifting priorities and requirements. Significant international travel required.

- The candidate must also demonstrate a strong sensitivity for cultural differences and have significant global acumen. Good team leader and excellent people management skill.

This requisition is for an international, locally hired position in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S.-based payroll, and will commensurate with experience and qualifications and in accordance with applicable UAE law. Employment is subject to the candidate s ability to satisfy all UAE labor and immigration formalities. Relocation benefits are available for IMEA region moves only.
