Job description / Role
My client a leading bank in the United Arab EMirates is looking to hire an IT Manager with good experience in Telecom, Avaya, Cisco, Polycom, SIP.
Description of the role would be as follows:
- Develop, revise and implement the Banks Telecom and unified communication Strategy as a component of the Banks overall IT Strategy.
- Provide technical expertise to develop new service catalogues & processes to drive improvements based on customer experiences
- Liaise with vendor to ensure work orders are performed satisfactorily
- Review security procedures of the Banks Telecom and unified communication and counteract any threat of interception.
Requirements
- Good hands-on Telecom and unified communication design and implementation experience.
- Ability to lead by example and be able to quickly establish respect of both, team members and external vendors from technical and management perspective
- Ability to inspire confidence in User representative Telecom and unified communication design, security and Management
- 7 years in IT Network, Telecom and unified communication within an organization of more than 2000 users
