Job description / Role
- Be expected to participate as a full member of the project team.
- Work in close liaison with all members of the project teams as well as key stakeholders that are external to the project teams.
- Liaise and negotiate with internal departments and external clients to ensure adequate development and delivery.
- Coordinate the activities of partners and providers where necessary.
- Manage project changes and new requests, and incorporate them into the plan.
- Collaborate in the analysis and functional definition of technical project requirements.
- Report both horizontally and vertically in a timely basis.
- Anticipate issues and sort them out.
Requirements
- Experience in IT projects (preferably that include complex customized software developments), possesses a solid technical background and a great deal of experience in Standard Project Management methodologies.
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
- Project Management training / certification (PMI or PRINCE2) or equivalent knowledge is Plus.
- Excellent knowledge of English and Arabic both spoken and written.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good team worker with leadership skills.
- Knowledge in software development lifecycle and requirements gathering.
- International experience will be a plus.
- Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies will be a plus.
- Knowledge on the following technologies: web based applications, cryptography and digital security will be a plus.
