I.T. Project Manager Channels

Job description / Role

- Evaluate and Implement solutions based on business requirement following the banks standard methodology and policies.
- Run projects, prepare project plan and provide MIS reports to PMO office. Liaison with cross functional IT infrastructure team members.
- Manage & mitigate project issues and risks, project resources and team, project board and stakeholders.
- Identify project resources needs and communicate to CDP Lead.
- Ensure availability of resources, meeting of timelines and other project details.
- Communicate changes in cost for Business case after its approval to ITBP.
- Ensure projects are aligned to and deliver against the Business objectives.
- Be accountable for creation of detailed business requirements document.
- Lead development work and oversee work of Developers.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities within CDP.
- Convene and lead the regular project steering committee meeting.
- Perform appropriate level of stakeholder management across IT and clients.
- Serve as highest project internal escalation level.
- Take appropriate actions if deadlines, quality or budget are significantly at risk.
- Documentation of IT processes as required by PMO standards. Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, in accordance with defined quality management practices, to achieve common objectives.
- Ensure maintaining Data confidentiality.
- Contribute to the yearly IT Roadmap ensuring that project costings and estimates are as accurate as possible.
- Work with Business representative to ensure alignment of delivery with Business demand.
- Facilitate the creation and elaboration of the project charter and other Governance approval documents.
- Participate in approval committees to represent projects.
- Define and mange project plan; coordinate with Testing Coordinator, Testing Manager and Testers to cover SIT and UAT testing activities.
- Coordinate with Business Requirements COE to ensure that business requirements are delivered to the project team in a comprehensive document.
- Participate in initiatives to optimize applications and related hardware.
- Manage assigned audit points.
- Manage relationships with project board and project team.
- Ensure support resources are available with sufficient knowledge to deliver specialist support for assigned applications.
- IT Vendor Management for assigned applications.
- Ensure smooth transition of projects to the production environment.
- Own pre-production checklist and coordinate with various stakeholders.
- Ensure end-users have adequate training before implementation.
- Establish strong relationships with key partners and suppliers to ensure effective delivery of out sourced work, products or services.
- Manage outsourced vendors to ensure availability of resources, meeting of timelines and other project details are in accordance of agreed work order and contract details.

Requirements

- Have thorough experience in implementing full life cycle of a project.
- Managing multiple project teams.
- Programming knowledge (desirable).
- Good understanding of the high level technical application architecture and design.
- Good understanding to the technical application security, compliance and Audit requirements.
- Having thorough experience in Corporate internet portals for handling payments, collections and its integration with respective core applications like UAEFTS, WPS, ICCS and Finacle via middleware TIBCO. Functional knowledge on the above will be an added advantage.
- Experience on Trade Finance and Factoring Products.
- Technical Weblogic, Java, Oracle DB and PL/SQL.
