The RoleThe Role Direct and manage project development from beginning to end. Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals. Lead the effort to gather requirements and analyze business cases. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Liaise with project stakeholders and project committees on an ongoing basis. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Draft RFP and evaluate RFP. Prepare and communicate progress reports. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Track project budget, milestones and deliverables. Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management. Ability to perform vendor management. |
RequirementsRequirementsSkills Education University degree in Computer Software/Hardware Engineering, MIS, Business or any other related degree PMP, Prince or any other project management certificate Experience 3-5 years direct work experience in project management where at least 3 years as a project manager for medium to large size projects. Experience should cover all phases of project management life cycle phases. 1-2 years of experience in the banking Knowledge in business processes and business product is an asset IT experience Competent and proficient understanding of IBM and/or Microsoft platforms Soft skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills Conflict management ability Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and flexible manner Excellent communication skills with an outgoing personality Ability to bring project to successful completion through political sensitivity Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Other skills Proven experience using MS project Proven experience using Visio professionally and MS office Familiarity with UML or any other requirement gathering and documentation techniques is an asset Fluent Arabic and English both spoken and written Familiarity of Business Process Mapping Good working knowledge of project management methodologies and procedures Work Conditions Overtime may be required in meeting project deadlines Sitting for extended periods of time Some travel may be required for the purpose of implementing applications on different sites |
