RequirementsRequirementsResponsibilities: „« Taking a lead role in the assessment of the commitment of Systems and Networking (LAN/WAN) including 3rd parties and the Business Unit, associated risks; proof of concept process; prepare and validate project plans; provide input to and underwrite the project budget and input to management „« Acquisition, assessment, assignment and management of the resources required (IT and/or 3rd parties /suppliers) „« Initiation, Planning, Executing, Controlling and Closing methodology „« Build and maintain project planning tools and techniques. Defines and implement project review, change control and acceptance procedures that conform to the chosen project methodology „« Identification of issues and assessment of risk pre-contract and throughout the project life. Identifies and executes a course of action designed to minimize or avert risk. Develops risk models. Recommends contingency provisions in the project budget „« Accountability for the project financials. Produces and maintains a project budget. Assures and authorizes billable (incl. 3rd party) deliverables to be processed for payment „« Manage communications and stakeholder expectations „« Manage risks and issues „« Identify and provide propositions to Steering Committee „« Deliver business benefits „« Create a climate which encourages excellence „« Build bridges to establish trust and integrity in relationships between IT department and Business Divisions „« Deliver to aggressive timescales in a fast-paced, dynamic and growing environment „« Acquire and manage internal resources and third parties under fixed price contracts „« Pragmatic use of program/project management disciplines to bring tangible benefits to the business at lowest possible cost in shortest possible time „« Participate in a cultural change to create an understanding of, and instill a professional approach to, project management across the Agency Skills and Qualifications: „« Decision Making: Predefined authority upon project assignment „« Resource Management: projects of medium-to-high scale, and in leading project team „« Communicating and Influencing: Well-developed communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate and consult with various individuals „« Problem Solving: Well-developed conceptual analytical, research and evaluation skill, including the ability to provide innovative thinking in solving complex problems „« Team-working: Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team „« PMP Certification |
