Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Assist PMO and coordinate with business lines in formalizing the projects and budget preparation for ensuing year.
Assist implementing Project Management Methodology and ensure adherence to it.
Participate in PMO related processes, practices and activities.
Ensure adherence to PMO mandates, initiatives, processes and procedures in all IT areas.
Assist and coordinate with colleagues in PMO in documents validation.
Take initiatives in proposing new ideas and solutions.
Organize and attend PMO related meetings and note minutes of the meetings.
Participate in PMO processes, practices and activities in close liaison with different internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare, update and maintain the IT Projects Portfolio. Report the management
Actively participate in portfolio planning, management reviews and approvals of the same.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders of PMO (business lines, vendors etc.).
Manage all portfolio related activities such as arranging IT Portfolio Committee meetings, Project Status Report meetings, following up with project managers on governance milestones, budget etc.
Prepare analytical data and statistics, Dashboards & similar reports for senior management.
Note down and distribute Minutes of Meetings, email communications etc. for PMO.

Requirements

Graduate in Computer Science or related field.
At least 5 years of experience in IT, preferably in planning area with exposure to Portfolio and IT budgeting process.
Excellent MS-Office skills, esp. MS-Excel formulas and MS-PowerPoint.
Knowledge of project management methodology, processes and tools.
Any certification in this area is an added advantage
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English written and verbal.
Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize activities and resources.
Ability to interact effectively at different levels within the business.
Ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously and operate effectively under pressure.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Fast learner and punctual. Should be able to work under pressure and short deadlines.
