The RoleThe Role• Software Quality Testing: o Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining test plans, test scripts, and test methodologies that ensure thorough testing of all assigned applications. o Defining test strategy, managing defects, generating reports, communicating issues, documenting test results, reviewing documentation and reviewing the adequacy of application controls. o Minimize risk through effective software/system testing and auditing to ensure specifications are accurate. o Identify critical business scenarios to validate software works and supports necessary business functions in the intended environment. • Quality Assurance: o Accurately reporting progress on problem resolution to management o Establish precise measurement criteria and standards to successfully audit and verify IT Division procedures across the software/system development life cycle. o Reviewing/developing/maintaining IT Division Quality System documentation o Review and enhance Quality System procedures o Supervises Quality Assurance reviews and pre and post implementation reviews with end users to ensure user needs, objectives and expectations have been satisfied. • Process Improvement: o Develop process improvement solutions that save time and money. Identify the appropriate key process areas and best practices to improve ADNOC Distribution total cost of ownership (TCO) by:  Identification and management of process improvement initiatives  Definition and monitoring of standards and processes for product and process  Re-engineering of IT internal processes and procedures by recommending improvements to current procedures while performing work flow analysis. • Performance Testing: o In order to measure system reliability IT Quality Analyst accurately access IT software's performance under real conditions. o Participates in laboratory simulation and testing of evaluated technologies. o Track record of designing, developing and executing load tests, scalability tests and stress tests. o Perform test environment management necessary for application stability and project predictability. • Release Engineering: o Select, build and manage all assets contributing value to IT project or product with multiphase effort spanning the development life cycle. o Provide software configuration management, release management and test environment management necessary for application stability and project predictability. • Change Management: Supervise/follow up/manage the changes in the IT Division to ensure the quality of change implementations and the controls are being met. • Relationship to internal/external auditing: Follow up with the internal/external audits reports • Manage Certification process: Performing trial certification audit and selecting the certification body. (ISO for example) • Help IT planning team in performing studies requested by management regarding feasibility and cost-effectiveness of implementing new IT related projects, in participation with other IT specialists and consultants. |
RequirementsRequirements• Bachelor degree in Information Technology or related field. • Ability to think logically and analytically. • Ability to pay close attention to detail. • Ability to work well in teams and on their own. • Ability to communicate clearly and tactfully. They should enjoy analyzing problems and finding innovative solutions, and taking responsibility for projects that require planning, decision-making and coordinating the work of others. |
