Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Responsible for setting the Quality Assurance software roadmap and processes with the freedom to innovate to drive the future of IT software quality assurance and recommends product improvements or corrections for overall product development technology roadmap.
- Managing the projects life cycle from quality assurance perspective; responsible for monitoring designs and develops end-to-end test plans and test cases which encompass the entire suite of software applications based on software requirements and technical understanding of the product architecture.
- Setting Software Quality Assurance Measurement Models; responsible for managing, controlling and executing the software quality measurement for software defects and classifications of errors.
- Planning and maintaining the Release Management process; responsible for minimizing undetected Defects in release; responsible for defining release certification process including generating test results and formal test reports for distribution to management level.
- Post Release Testing and Onboard Deployments; responsible for deployment of in-house and external software releases as well as post release testing and monitoring.
- Setting and Planning for Project Software Quality Assurance System; responsible for setting the deviation margins allowed per each project /Change Request CR
-Setting process metrics; responsible for the Applications monitoring and control from the Software process assessment perspective
- Setting, planning and performing software quality auditing system; responsible for the reporting of quality issues and progress solutions
- Achieving quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; identifying and resolving problems; completing audits; determining system improvements; implementing change.
- Responsible of, and manages release management and vendor deliverables and owns the applications/software library and versioning
- Participating in performing the Software quality testing activities; monitoring the functional, regression, load, and system end-to-end testing for all projects in addition to major selected CRs.
- Evaluating new or modified software products; responsible for reporting the assessment results of the new or modified software products and documentation prior to the release.
- Capturing and analyzing defect matrices; responsible for setting and implementing defect tracking and prevention process and assisting in reproducing, investigating and debugging software issues in coordination with the development team in addition to tracking the defects including the effective documentation of defects/bugs utilizing the defect tracking system and tool.
- Participating in troubleshoot test failures; responsible for working with technical IT teams in troubleshooting test failures in the various test/customer environments; this may include troubleshooting database issues, reviewing server logs, etc.
- Reporting Software quality measurements and KPIs to IT Management

Requirements

- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Communication
- Certified in software quality testing (such as: ISTQB, CSTE)
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar managerial position
- Software Quality Assurance and Automation or Performance Testing

Experience:
- Project Management Experience
- Software Project Management Certification is a plus
- Knowledgeable in Quality Assurance and compliance with best practices
Minimum years of experience:
- At least a total of 9 years experience in the software quality activities
- A minimum of 7 years of overall experience in technology is required
- Experience with automated testing tools and processes required
- Hands on experience using QA tools for test automation
- Experience with Performance / Load Runner (preferred)
- Strong attention to details and a thorough approach to testing methodologies and quality assurance is preferred
