IT Security Architect

Job Purpose
Responsible for the overall standards and direction of software / hardware / networking architecture in one or more of the company Business Processes, infrastructure domains, or for the Enterprise.

Functional Duties:
1. Define, document and maintain the Business, Application, Information, Technology and/or Security architectures, policies, and standards using companys enterprise architecture toolset.
2. Work closely with the assigned domains (business, application, information, technology, and/or security) to define and maintain architecture to operationalize business needs for a new service.
3. Define how the different technology domain components will need to interact.
4. Ensure the technology design at project/ program level is aligned with architecture standards.
5. Collaborate with other domain Architects to maintain the Enterprise Architecture
6. Support project teams during the design phase.
7. Analyse wider industry trends and best practices to identify best-in-class architectural direction.
8. Help develop and manage the appropriate governance process for architectural approval.
9. Help develop an overall architecture roadmap to deliver the future state.
10. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/ manager.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Engineering or any related field.
Professional Experience (minimum)
- Experience in architecture design and management
- Proven architecture modeling skills
- Good to expert understanding of domain architecture standards
- Deep knowledge in specific technical skills, depending on domain specialization
- A clear understanding of architecture standards/ policies
- Prefer a deep understanding of the chemical industry
